Closing Advice

Interview with Jack, Jerry, Sarah, Gary and Jesse

JM: Is there anything else you would want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to jail?
Jack: Good Luck trying to get any info to help the person.
Jerry: Try to accept their calls and visit them at least once per week because it gets very lonely in there. Also, you may want to try and put some money on their account each week so they can buy some food on the commissary to supplement the slack meals they are served every day.
Sarah: Just do all you can to stay out and if you do go keep your head up, do the time don't let the time do you.
Gary: do not cross the gaurds...they are very mean. i was treated poorly. So, poor that I am talking to the naacp at this moment to file a cruel and unusual punishment lawsuit against this awful place. I have spoken to 60 ex-inmates who are in this with me. I am working on more. We are getting petitions signed right now! They treated the wrong person mean this time...

JM: Is there anything else you would recommend to a future inmate?
Jack: NO
Jerry: Do exactly as you are told by the deputies and keep your mouth shut at all other times.
Sarah: yeah, if you go once. isn't that enough for an entire lifetime?
Jesse: Stay away form officer R. Tieu he has anger issues, he will mistreat you humiliate you and take your food away.
